Research direction

Advancing decision systems from human-designed paradigms toward autonomous evolution

SingularityX Evolution is committed to building intelligent decision systems centered on AI self-evolution, using non-stationary and adversarial financial markets as a real-world research setting. Research covers reliable decisions in dynamic environments, strategy generation, competition and evolution through multi-agent collaboration and games, and continued improvement of strategy research and generation methods. The objective is to explore systems that autonomously propose hypotheses, conduct validation and iterate strategies.

Exploring technical approaches

Research explores the applicability and possible combinations of world models, multi-agent collaboration and games, reinforcement learning and other methods for self-evolving intelligent decision systems. Technical approaches and system architectures will be revised as research progresses and experimental evidence develops.

Exploring evolution mechanisms

For continuous strategy generation, validation, competition and iteration, research examines the applicability and coordination of mechanisms such as real-market feedback, simulation and self-play. Evolution processes will be refined in response to validation results.

Financial markets provide an important setting for exploring innovative AI applications in financial research, strategy evolution and risk management, with reproducible experiments supporting continued improvement.

Exploring long-term questions through concrete tasks

S2E focuses on long-term questions in energy and habitats, life and intelligence, and collaboration and civilization. It will break grand challenges into verifiable research tasks, making progress step by step from a concrete question. Possible starting points include control or materials problems in fusion, cross-individual decoding and long-term stability in brain–computer interfaces, and thermal management, radiation and cost models for space-based computing. Current work uses small-scale closed-loop tests in finance to examine collaboration, validation and reward mechanisms, alongside work on infrastructure, connections with partners across disciplines and ecosystem development.
